Stag Weekends: Your Last Chance To Let That Inner Child Loose

In the age old hope that the groom is to be married for the rest of his natural life, stag weekends have meant that this is the very last chance to enjoy life as a single man. With this always in the back of the mind, this provides the perfect excuse for the stags to let themselves go and really let that inner child on the loose.

Obviously, we are not condoning illegal or ridiculous behaviour here, but we are acknowledging the fact that stags do like to run a wee bit wild at such times. After all, an imminent wedding is always something that should be celebrated.

With the recession now taking its toll, plenty of guys choose to spend their stag weekends here in the UK; and there are plenty of destinations to select from. Cornwall is an ideal spot, with Newquay providing the ideal playground for overgrown children.

Blackpool is always another popular choice, as is Skegness for those who are closer to the North Sea coast.

If you can afford to do so, travelling abroad is still going to mean an excellent stag weekend. The good news here is that this needn’t cost the earth. There are some cut price air fares available to the most popular European city breaks for stag weekends. This includes Amsterdam, Barcelona and Prague. So even if money were a little on the short side, an overseas stag weekend could still be on the cards.
